DIY Gay-Friendly Kissing Cake Topper

Weddings should be about the couple, with each and every detail, both large and small, being an illustration of their personality. And, let's face it, not all brides and grooms are Swarovski crystal types. Which is why I was smitten when I came across this charming clothespin cake topper made by Brittany for Brooklyn Bride.

The simple DIY just calls for an oversized clothespin, acrylic paint and a steady hand.

Originally a bride and groom, with a little bit of editing we turned it into a gay-friendly accent. The adorable detail can also be used to clasp favor bags together or pin Polaroids of the happy couple along decorative twine to set the scene.
