In positive New Hampshire news, the House has voted down a bill permitting wedding vendors to refuse goods or service to gay couples, the Associated Press reports.

On Wednesday, legislation was killed with a vote of 246-85, which would have allowed providers of wedding-related goods or services to withhold those services if they believe doing business with a couple would violate their conscience or religious faith.

Though not blatantly described in the bill’s text, it was clear who the target audience was in the January hearing.
