Remember that your wedding photos will be one of the few tangible items from your wedding that you\u2019ll have, besides your partner.It\u2019s important that you meet with several potential photographers and see their portfolio. Make sure you feel comfortable around him or her and that you can afford them. I asked wedding photographer Cappy Hotchkiss to share some advice for couples still searching for their wedding photographer. Here\u2019s what she had to say:Go with your gut.Don\u2019t hire someone just because they\u2019re inexpensive.Hire someone you trust and who has a good reputation.Do not feel like you have to have two photographers and two videographers\u2014that’s a lot of people up in your face.Make sure the photographer you hire has back-up equipment.If you hire a documentary photographer, don’t ask them to do tons of portraits\u2014let them do what they do best, and vice versa.
