But Angel Sanchez broke the bridal barriers with his Spring 2013 line and the result was a truly ethereal collection.Models walked down the loft-like runway in traditional silhouettes  that were accented with edge: geometric acetate details, feather  appliques and sequined lace trim. \u201cInspiration came from the materials  and details. It\u2019s just about making beautiful dresses and playing with  different textures and different techniques,\u201d Sanchez told us backstage  before the show. \u201cGetting some kind of different effect.\u201dThat close attention to detail is what drew gasps from the crowd, as couture designs paired with romantic icy beauty looks marched down the brightly lit room. \u201cI like to get fun and really enjoy the whole process. I don\u2019t like  the traditional, so I create my bridal with a fashion point of view. I  don\u2019t like typical traditional flowers, lace, poufy dresses just because  it\u2019s what bridal is \u2018supposed,\u2019 to be. I like to break a little bit of  rules,\u201d he said with a grin. \u201cPeople are afraid to experiment and to  really play with but my bridal is about that.
