The ethereal gowns sparkled with sequins and shimmered with acetate detailing, and it was from these materials that inspiration for the icy beauty looks grew.“I like that acetate-plastic feeling,” Sanchez told us backstage before the show. “I wanted a look that was romantic but modern at the same time. Something light.”Turning Sanchez’s vision into reality, Leonard Zagami of AnthonyLeonard Salon for Moroccanoil, created young, romantic looks, highlighting flowing, textured waves accented with silvery effects inspired by the elaborate textures.In order to achieve the loose waves, Zagami wrapped pieces around a hair straightener to create soft, randomly textured waves. He then took the coif to the cutting edge with cellophane and silver paint—not your typical products found in a bridal beauty bag. He applied silver gel in subtle patterns around the hairline and created a couture headpiece using a cellophane headband. “We wanted to give the illusion of a veil, but in a modern way,” Zagami told us.Products used:Moroccanoil Curl Defining Mousse, $22Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream, $31.80Morrocanoil Luminous Hairspray, $21To finish the enchantingly icy allure, Clarins makeup artist Jean Fayard used the same silver hair paint on the eyebrows and embellished the models’ faces with sequins from the actual gowns, applied using eyelash glue. The couture look was balanced out with natural and romantic peach lips, flushed cheeks and pale blue eye shadow.The look was edgy yet romantic, and though it certainly isn’t for everyone, it meticulously blended bridal and high fashion, giving inspiration to those who do want to push the envelope for bridal beauty on their big day.Photo: Moroccanoil, Clarins"},{"@context":"https://schema.org/","@type":"BreadcrumbList
@type":"ListItem
