When they learned July 18 the daycare had an opening, they went to the school to fill out the paperwork.But after administrators learned the couple was in a same-sex marriage, they revoked the admission due to the school\u2019s religious beliefs.\u201cWe were not trying to plague your daycare sir, we are gay, our daughter is not!,\u201d Brittney Ready wrote in a public Facebook post about going to the school only to be turned away after an administrator called them \u201cmates\u201d and their marriage was against the school\u2019s bylaws.\u201cI am glad God was on our side and let the true colors show before my baby was subjected to their \u2018discriminating beliefs,\u2019” she added.Parkview Christian Academy did not return a request for comment. The school\u2019s website states the school \u201creserves the right to reject the admission of any student for any reason.\u201dThe private Baptist school is a K-12 school with about 127 students, according to the Private Review School website.The school\u2019s student handbook states the school admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin.
