Why? Often times, brides selling the gowns spend more than they originally plan to and thus, hope to get some quick money off the pre-sale. Some brides have been successful. The article states that bride-to-be Erin May got $4,650 after pre-selling her $7,000 Vera Wang \u201cDiana\u201d gown.
