The intimate celebration at Four Seasons Tamarindo, a hidden paradise on Mexico’s Pacific coast, brought together 115 of their favorite people for a fashion-forward weekend that perfectly captured the couple’s aesthetic and love story.A Proposal on the AdriaticThe path to “I do” began with a proposal that almost didn’t happen \u2014 at least not when Jason planned it.Khasan was on tour with P!nk in Europe and had a week off, so Jason flew out to meet him for a Croatian getaway. They rented a catamaran to sail between the islands with just a captain as their guide.“I kept changing the itinerary based on the captain’s suggestions, completely unaware that Jason was trying to find the perfect moment to propose,” Khasan says. “Every time he thought, ‘this is it,’ I unknowingly shifted the plan.”After a few days of improvising, Jason couldn’t wait any longer. As they sailed toward Bra\u010d island, with Khasan lying on the net at the front of the catamaran soaking in the view, Jason played “Marry Me” by Betty Who.“I looked over, and there he was \u2014 nervous, emotional and down on one knee. I honestly thought he was seasick at first,” Khasan says. “But then he popped the question, and everything just stopped. It was pure magic.”What They Love About Each OtherFor Khasan, Jason’s grounded and thoughtful nature provides the perfect balance. “He’s the calm to my chaos \u2014 the one who keeps me centered while encouraging me to dream bigger. He makes me feel completely safe and seen. He’s my biggest cheerleader and my anchor, always challenging me to grow while loving me exactly as I am.”Jason’s admiration for Khasan is equally deep. “I love that Khasan is so kind and supportive. He’s incredibly thoughtful and generous with his time and energy. He’s my safe space but he also encourages me to do more, work harder, be better \u2014 cheering me along to become the best version of myself. And he’s so unbelievably silly. He reminds me to not take life so seriously.”A Wedding Planning Journey Built on PartnershipWedding planning proved to be another opportunity for the couple to strengthen their bond. “You always hear stories about how stressful it can be, but we were completely in sync and actually loved the process,” Khasan says.Sharing a similar aesthetic made decisions easier. When they toured six venues in Mexico, their top three were identical \u2014 making the final choice simple.“From the start, we approached the weekend as a love letter to our people. We wanted it to feel elevated, joyful and full of intention,” Khasan says. They carved out dedicated planning sessions after work, complete with Google Sheets and a giant planning board covered in color-coded Post-its: pink for vendors, green for purchases, blue for payments, yellow for ‘Khasan to do,’ orange for ‘Jason to do,’ purple for partnerships. “It also helped that our amazing wedding planner Maria Soriano Jimeno made the process easy and fun.”Of course, there were challenges. “We woke up to dozens of emails about guests’ flight changes, and our tuxedos, welcome party looks, and gift bag items got stuck in customs,” Khasan says. They also had to compromise on dress code \u2014 Khasan wanted formal black tie, but Jason worried about the heat. They settled on creative black tie, pushing the ceremony later in the day.“In the end, every decision felt true to us \u2014 and brought us even closer,” Khasan says.Fashion Takes Center StageAs a choreographer and creative director, Khasan ensured fashion was woven throughout the celebration. Both grooms wore custom Ralph Lauren Purple Label tuxedos styled by Randy Cousin, SVP of Lab and VIP Dressing at Tommy Hilfiger. They even sent out an attire moodboard with the invitations to set the tone. The weekend kicked off with a summer cocktail-chic welcome party and wrapped with their creative black tie celebration that invited self-expression and style.Capturing Every MomentThe couple enlisted an all-star creative team to document their celebration. Diego Padilla, whose striking editorial photography has appeared in Vogue, Elle, The New York Times and People, captured stunning still moments. Tan Weddings brought cinematic storytelling featured in Vogue, Vanity Fair, The Lane and The Wed, turning every frame into art.Ceremony RitualsThe ceremony itself was layered with meaningful traditions that honored both the couple’s spirituality and their blended families.Their friend Reina opened the processional, walking down the aisle with sage to cleanse the space before the ceremony began. P!nk surprised them with a rose quartz placed on the white circular riser where they stood, meant to absorb the love and energy of the day.“We keep it next to our framed wedding photo now,” Khasan says. “It holds all that magic.”They incorporated a ring warming ceremony, passing their wedding bands to family members seated in the front row. “We asked each person to infuse the rings with their blessings and well-wishes for our marriage,” Khasan says. “By the time the rings came back to us, they felt heavy with love.”In a spontaneous moment that perfectly captured their dynamic, the grooms played rock-paper-scissors during the ceremony to decide who would say their vows first.Then came an unexpected surprise. After exchanging vows, P!nk had someone bring up two brightly colored speedos for their declaration of intent. “All of our friends and family joke that we are always somewhere wearing only a speedo and never wear any clothes,” Khasan says. P!nk asked: “Do you promise to wear these tomorrow or some form of speedo forever? If so, put them on.”“It was a fun moment. Especially since we had no idea what our officiant was going to say the entire ceremony,” Khasan says. “We just gave her a timeline and key moments of our relationship and let her run with it.”To close the ceremony, they honored the Jewish tradition of breaking the glass, with all 115 guests erupting in shouts of “Mazel Tov!” as they stepped into married life.Personal Touches That Told Their StoryEvery detail of the weekend reflected Khasan and Jason’s relationship and the people who matter most to them.Their First Dance: Betty Who performed “Marry Me” live, the same song Jason played during his proposal. “The moment came full circle as we danced surrounded by our loved ones, now as husbands,” Khasan says. “Betty has been part of some of the biggest chapters of our story, and having her there made it feel like a true fairy tale.”Tennis Tournament: The weekend began with a round robin-style tennis tournament, the perfect icebreaker for their competitive, sports-loving crowd. Vuori partnered with them to create custom tennis bags for every guest, and they had medals made that read: “K & J Open… You’re a winner, baby.”Espresso Martini Rule: In their friend group, if someone orders an espresso martini, they have to announce it \u2014 because everyone else inevitably follows. Naturally, espresso martinis became one of their signature cocktails alongside spicy margaritas.Beyonc\u00e9 Energy: When they first arrived in Mexico to tour their venue, Beyonc\u00e9’s “Cowboy Carter” album had just dropped. They played it nonstop that weekend, making it the unofficial soundtrack to their wedding planning.
