But updos can be easy! Patrick Jagaille at the Serge Normant at John Frieda Salon in Los Angeles has been kind enough to teach us how to create this breezy style. “We wanted the hair to be really soft but not down,” he says “so we compromised but pulling it up gracefully at the neck. This is the kind of hair for a natural bride, when she doesn’t want to feel like she has a major updo.”PRODUCTS GET THE LOOK:Starting with wet hair, spray in Serge Normant Meta Lush Volumizer to give the hair texture and volume.Using a round brush and by dividing the hair into sections, blow dry the hair completely straight. Using a 1in curling iron, begin curling the hair in 1in pieces, section by section. These should be loose curls, created by wrapping the hair around the wand of the iron. Continue this process until all the hair is curled. Once the entire head of hair is curled, lightly run your hands through the waves to smooth the curls.Gather the hair and place a rubberband in a loose ponytail at the nape of your neck. Place another rubberband about one inch from the end of your hair. Wrap the hair around itself and tuck the end into the first rubberband. Secure in place with bobby pins.Let the other hairs fall loosely around the face.Spray with Serge Normant Meta Luxe Hair Spray to finish. "},{"@context":"https://schema.org/","@type":"BreadcrumbList
@type":"ListItem
