The couple featured in this submission is one that met and fell in love young. Taylor and Lexa started dating in their early teens, and they have stayed together and grown together. They\u2019ve also grown more in love every single day, and after years of dating, Taylor contacted me to help plan a surprise proposal for Lexa. We planned to meet at a location where they could be close to the river here in Columbia, South Carolina, and it just happens that the Gervais Street Bridge made the perfect back drop for their session. Taylor and I planned to surprise Lexa about half-way through their session so we could have time to photograph them together after Taylor popped the question. Our plan was this: Taylor would put the ring in my camera bag when Lexa was not looking at the beginning of our session, and we would shoot their first outfit as if nothing was out of the ordinary. Just a casual couples session\u2026 or so Lexa thought! I told Taylor I would get Lexa alone in front of my camera down by the river, give Taylor the signal, and let her walk up behind Lexa and pop the question! Thankfully, everything went off without a hitch! I hope you enjoy these images from Taylor\u2019s surprise proposal to Lexa, and I\u2019m incredibly honored to be a same-sex wedding photographer in South Carolina!#ftg-173173 .tile .icon { color:#ffffff; }#ftg-173173 .ftg-items .loading-bar i { background:#fff; }#ftg-173173 .ftg-items .loading-bar { background:#fff; }#ftg-173173 .tile .icon { font-size:12px; }#ftg-173173 .tile .icon { margin: -6px 0 0 -6px; }#ftg-173173 .tile .caption-block .text-wrapper span.text { font-size:12px; }#ftg-173173 .tile .caption-block .text-wrapper span.title { font-size:14px; }#ftg-173173 .tile { background-color: transparent; }#ftg-173173 .tile .caption-block .text-wrapper span.text { color: #ffffff; }#ftg-173173 .tile .caption-block .text-wrapper span.title { color: #ffffff; }#ftg-173173 .tile .ftg-social a { color: #ffffff; }#ftg-173173 .tile .caption-block { transition-timing-function:linear; }#ftg-173173 .tile .caption-block { transition-duration:0.25s; }#ftg-173173 .tile .tile-inner:before { background-color: #000000; }#ftg-173173 .tile .tile-inner:before { background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.8); }#ftg-173173 .tile.ftg-preload { transform: scaleY(1) scaleX(1) translate(0px,0px) rotateX(0deg) rotateY(0deg); }#ftg-173173 .tile.ftg-preload { transition: all ease-out 0.5s, opacity linear 0.5s; }#ftg-173173 .tile img.item { transition-duration: 0.25s; }jQuery('#ftg-173173 img.item').removeAttr('src');jQuery(document).ready(function () {setTimeout(function () {jQuery('#ftg-173173').finalTilesGallery({minTileWidth: 250,margin: 10,loadMethod: 'sequential',nonce: 'fbf4ed598f',galleryId: '173',setupFilters: true, layout: 'final',debug: false, gridSize: 25,disableGridSizeBelow: 800,allowEnlargement: true, imageSizeFactor: [ [4000, 0.9],[1024, 0.8],[768, 0.7],[640, 0.6],[320, 0.5]],selectedFilter: 'n-a'});jQuery(function () {(function () {var rel = '';jQuery('#ftg-173173 .ftg-lightbox').click(function (e) {rel = jQuery(this).attr('rel');jQuery('#ftg-173173 .ftg-current').removeClass('ftg-current');jQuery('#ftg-173173 [rel=\"'+rel+'\"]').addClass('ftg-current');});})();jQuery('#ftg-173173 .tile a.ftg-lightbox').prettyPhoto({});});}, 0);}); Photographer: Jessica Hunt PhotographyApparel: Banana RepublicJewelry: House of HarlowJewelry: Micheal KorsApparel: Lane BryantAttire: Polo Ralph LaurenRing Designer: Reeds JewelersLocation: Columbia RiverwalkSubmitted via Two Bright Lights"},{"@context":"https:\/\/schema.org\/","@type":"BreadcrumbList","itemListElement":[{"@type":"ListItem","position":1,"name":"Columbia, South Carolina high school sweetheart proposal","item":"https:\/\/equallywed.com\/high-school-sweetheart-proposal\/#breadcrumbitem"}]}]
