The company creates wedding rings, fashion rings, pendants and bracelets inspired by the fight for marriage equality and gay rights. \u201c[I] got married in California just five days before Proposition 8 was passed,\u201d says founder Sam Street. \u201cIt devastated us to know that other people wouldn\u2019t be able to get married because of this measure.\u201d Unenthused by traditional wedding bands, Street and his partner used their backgrounds in jewelry to start Proposition Love.Proposition Love is more than just a safe place for same-sex couples to buy wedding bands\u2014a portion of the proceeds from each sale goes to organizations that support LGBT rights and marriage equality.
