Websites where I see only \u201cBride & Groom\u201d labeled on things makes me feel unseen.What challenges did you face as an LGBTQ+ couple planning your wedding?While planning our wedding, we were both cis\/het passing. We often had to explain over and over again how we were both nonbinary and use they\/them pronouns. People either seemed to think we weren\u2019t queer enough or we were too queer for them to feel comfortable. It was important to us that people knew we were a queer couple.Did you encounter any pleasant surprises as an LGBTQ+ couple planning your wedding?Our friends were wildly supportive\u2014and not just the ones we expected.
