Officiants

Photographer Vermont.jpg

I’ve been marrying people for over 15 years as a justice of the peace. I enjoy helping create and capturing romantic, meaningful, fun, and chill weddings. Although I officiate, photograph and design flowers for big weddings, I am known for making planning elopements and small weddings easy to plan because I offer three services and planning guidance. I have a second shooter and photography assistant when I am officiating the ceremony. I also know all the great venues and other vendors in Vermont.

Available seven days a week, last minute weddings always welcome. So, call me, let’s talk!

Congratulations on your engagement! Each couple is unique and so each wedding ceremony needs to be unique. The most beautiful ceremonies reflect the hopes, dreams, love, traditions, and values that you bring to each other.

I can provide resources and guidance throughout the ceremony planning process. As you determine how you want your wedding to be structured, I will help you both to understand the meaning of different rituals and customs (both religious and secular) and to select readings, prayers, and music that you find meaningful.  Your ceremony can be creative and can include as many or as few religious elements and cultural traditions as you want. I can also help you prepare vows if you choose to write them yourself and determine how you would like to involve your family, friends, and guests in the ceremony.

In addition to providing rabbinical and cantorial services for Jewish weddings, I am comfortable conducting both interfaith and secular wedding ceremonies and am happy to co-officiate with special friends or family, or clergy from other faiths. I believe strongly in marriage equality and delight in serving and supporting the LGBTQIA+ community. In life – and especially at a wedding – everyone should feel loved and embraced.

Weddings are special and sacred moments. I know this to be true first-hand, as a married queer person and as a queer spiritual leader. It’s my mission and a true honor as a wedding officiant to pay that magic forward to other queer couples.

Each wedding ceremony should best reflect the couple at its center. I work with couples closely to co-create the wedding ceremony that fits who they are and uplifts and celebrates their values and beliefs. As an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister, I have the experience and knowledge to co-create wedding ceremonies that exist across the spectrum of religious to secular. I can offer spiritual and/or religious framing to a ceremony, but I also have flexibility and knowledge to lead ceremonies that are deep and meaningful and do not rely on religious words or framing. It’s part of my role to help couples create a ceremony that is fully and completely representative of you and your love for one another.

I’d love to work with you! I’m located in Los Angeles, CA, and I am willing to travel. Please be in touch to set up an initial conversation about your special day.

CONGRATULATIONS on your engagement and your choice to marry the love of your life!

Whether you are eloping spur of the moment, having a civil ceremony, or planning to have the wedding of your dreams, I will produce the ceremony you envision.  My main obligation as an officiant is to create the most heartfelt, unique memory as possible that will be treasured always by you and guests alike.

I will perform your wedding, vow renewal, or elopement – whichever union you desire.  I will incorporate any traditions and rituals that you wish to include in your ceremony.   No ceremony is too big or too small.  I can meet you and your fiancé to witness you exchanging “I do’s” and signing your marriage license, or officiate your lavish ceremony!
