O Frabjous Day Events

It’s difficult to put into words how incredible it was to work with Laura for our wedding. We met with Laura around 3 months before our wedding, and while we had most of our vendors selected we were overwhelmed with putting it all together. Laura was able to come in and sweep up the pieces we had and turn them into a wedding that was better than anything we could have dreamed of.

During the planning process she was always available when we needed to consult, and her organizational systems were clear and very helpful. We left every meeting with Laura feeling a huge sense of relief and feeling so supported. She took over communication with our vendors as the date approached and seemed to know exactly what we wanted.

Come wedding day, Laura made us feel so taken care of and supported. She was kind and warm to us and our families, and everyone had a clear understanding of what to do and where to be. She gave us pep talks throughout the day and was never far away from us. We also loved working with Karen, her assistant, who was so kind and always had a smile when we saw her. They are an incredible team.

We were blown away with how beautiful the venue looked with all of the details Laura put together. Not a single detail was missed, and the night was better than anything we could have ever imagined.  We will never forget how wonderful the wedding was and how incredible it was to work with Laura.  Any couple would be lucky to get to work with her, and we feel so fortunate she was available to support us.

Laura was fabulous. We were planning a large wedding from the other side of the country, and she helped us host an epic, tailored, and unique event that friends and family from all ages and many different backgrounds say was on the best they’ve been to. We played around with typical formats, and Laura made it happen. Laura brought a perfect mixture of clarity, calm, and cohesion to every things we did. She knew when to jump in and help steer the ship and when to let my husband and I come to a decision on our own. She was patient… and also told us when it was time to make a decision. She was cool under pressure, had meticulous attention to detail, and brought a creative flair that helped bring our visions to life. If you’re considering her for your planner, you’d be silly not to. She’s simply the best.

We worked with Laura for a little over a year leading up to our wedding and it was hands down the best wedding decision we made! From advising us on vendors to making budget-friendly decor recommendations, Laura’s guidance helped us immensely throughout the planning process. As a queer couple, we also really wanted someone who could help us change or discard traditions that didn’t work for us and instead create a celebration tailored to us, and help us avoid the most cis/heteronormative parts of weddings (tons of gendered language, prescriptive roles, etc.). Laura got it immediately and expertly helped us navigate the wedding world. She’s also a real pro at navigating complicated family dynamics, which was so helpful. She asked all the right questions, kept us on top of things, and executed the logistics of our wedding day flawlessly. Laura is down-to-earth, trustworthy, dependable, and a true expert. I felt so at ease knowing we were in good hands with her. I could fill pages singing her praises, so suffice it to say–she’s the best!
