G<\/span>esy and Erica’s Brooklyn wedding was thirteen years in the making. The couple got engaged back in 2006, after they had been together for six months. They finally tied the knot in a romantic sunset ceremony with views of the New York City skyline.<\/p>\n

What advice would you give to engaged LGBTQ+ couples?<\/h2>\n

Take your time in your relationship. You don’t have to rush to get married just because you’re engaged. Enjoy and learn about each other on a deeper level. Talk about the “what ifs.” For, example what if I get paralyzed and\/or sick are you going to hold me down?<\/p>
