F<\/span>or this whimsical styled shoot in Hawaii, the vendors wanted to move past the tropical tropes associated with the state and instead create a wonderland garden theme. The models, a real engaged couple, posed together in bold velvet suits, surrounded by dense greenery and pastel florals. In true wonderland fashion, they also enjoyed a tea party. The shoot took place on the east side of O’ahu at a private beach front estate called Male\u02bbana Garndens<\/a>.<\/p>\n “We really want people to be able to see themselves when they think Hawai\u02bbi Weddings,” said planner Zabrina of The Gay Agenda Collective<\/a>. “As a Native Hawaiian, queer wedding planner, it has always been a goal of mine to feature couples that look like me, because I never got to see anyone that resembled me when I planned my own wedding.”<\/p>
