Equally Wed award winners are chosen through a public voting process. We first accept nominations from the public during our nomination period. After our nomination period ends, we compile the submissions of the most nominated people/companies and then review all finalists to confirm they exemplify LGBTQ+ inclusivity. We then open up a voting period to allow the public to vote for the No. 1 LGBTQ+ inclusive vendor in each award category. After the voting period ends, Equally Wed will compile all final results to announce the winner in each award category.
The 2021 Equally Wed Awards nomination period begins on April 2, 2021 and ends April 23, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern.
Finalists will be announced on May 5, 2021.
Our voting period will open on May 5, 2021 and end on May 21, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern.
Award winners will be announced on June 7, 2021.
No. Nominations and winners are chosen solely by our submission and voting process, which is free to submitters, nominees and award recipients. However, Equally Wed does reserve the right to reject any nomination or winner if Equally Wed determines they are not LGBTQ+ inclusive.

OUR PROCESS EXPLAINED
Nominations for 2021 Equally Wed Awards are now closed. Voting is open and ends May 21, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. During this period, the public will vote for their favorite LGBTQ+ inclusive vendors and venues. The finalist with the most votes in their respective category will win. Award winners will be announced June 7, 2021.
All winners will be notified by email and sent a badge.
