We had a fabulous first Love is Love Wedding Show on Sunday, Sept. 18, in the gorgeous digs of the Altitude Room at the W-Atlanta Midtown. Couples from as far as Chattanooga and as close as Midtown turned out for the event, mixing and mingling with other brides, brooms and grooms, as well as meeting wonderful gay-friendly wedding vendors (full list below the photos). All day, vendors commented to me how relaxed the day felt. I noticed it, too. Smiles were seen all around, wherever I looked. It honestly felt to me like a fabulous afternoon cocktail party where conversation flowed easily, which is exactly the vibe we were going for. We can’t wait to do it again!
Our photographer of the day, Jessica Lewis of Weddings That Pop, captured a lot of the fun in her photos below. So did Project Q and GA Voice, so be sure to check out their photo galleries, too!
