I’m Sabra Dettore, a Secular Celebrant located in Brandon Twp. MI. I am happy to travel anywhere to officiate a wedding.
Love, in my view, knows no boundaries, and neither should your wedding ceremony!
I take pride in being an Equality Enthusiast and an Inclusive Celebrant, dedicated to crafting ceremonies that revolve around YOU—your love, your journey, your dreams are all at the heart of what I do.
I have a genuine love for the process of getting to know every couple I work with and the opportunity to stand in front of their chosen family and tell their unique love story.
My journey into officiating ceremonies began when my sister-in-law and her now wife wanted to have a commitment ceremony in 2011. The struggle to find someone to officiate the two of them led me to think, “I should do this.” No one should have to jump through hoops to marry the person they’re in love with. It took six years, but in 2017, I became ordained.
Two years later, I made the bold decision to leave my day job and become a full-time wedding officiant. I became ordained through ULC in 2017 and The AMM in 2020. Additionally, I graduated from the Unboring Wedding Academy in 2020 and completed the Celebrant Academy 6-month Master Class Certification Course in 2021. I also achieved the Equally Wed Pro Inclusive Certification in 2021.
I specialize in crafting couple centered, non-traditional, joyful weddings, sweet and intimate elopements, as well as quick and simple legal license signings.
I am also a Secular Funeral Celebrant, creating beautiful funeral services that focus on celebrating the life of your loved one while honoring who they really were.
Life is full of transitions, and I believe they should be celebrated with ceremony. I can create ceremonies such as baby welcoming’s, transgender renaming ceremonies, house blessings, vow renewals, sobriety celebrations, and much more.
I’d love to help you share your love story thru your ceremony. Let’s chat….
