Style guru Isaac Mizrahi has worn many hats over the years including couture designer and TV host and this month he adds bridal designer to his resume. Mizrahi debuted his wedding gown collection at the famed bridal salon, Kleinfeld, which will have the line exclusively.

The line is a mix of traditional white gowns with a variety of detailing, including beading, ruching, lace appliques and black accents. Mizrahi also added color to his runway with several pink gowns and white dresses with pink trims.

One unique detail worth noting is Mizrahi’s use of plaids. The preppy pattern isn’t often associated with wedding gowns and it was a refreshing addition to the classic white dress.
