A few weeks ago, I wrote a story on how you can personalize Tabasco bottles to either serve at your wedding or hand out as wedding favors. I recently learned that you can do the same thing with Heinz ketchup and its ketchup and mustard sets!
While their are very few wedding menu options that will need ketchup and mustard (besides PIBS and the children’s menu) if you’re having a casual rehearsal dinner menu these “keepsake” condiments will be fun addition to the table. And a personal one!
MyHeinz.com lets you put a message, your names, your wedding date and even a photo on the label. You can choose from the iconic 14 oz glass bottle ($7.99), the 20 oz upside down plastic bottle ($7.99), the 2.25-ounce ketchup or Dijon mustard bottles (set of 4 for $13.96) or the two-bottle combo pack of 2.25-ounce ketchup/Dijon mustard ($13.96). Pricing decreases when you order multiple bottles. Prices for shipping and handling are not included.
So here’s how it works: Visit myheinz.com and select the bottle size you want, then choose from a selection of sayings or customize your own. You can also upload an image to appear on the label. Once you confirm your order, delivery takes two to three weeks.
As for wedding favors, remember that edible favors are always a fan favorite. But if you already have your favors and don’t need ketchup for items on your menu it would just be fun to order a custom bottle just to have around the house.
