Spring Fever
New bridal designers and collections for 2011

There was almost too much to love on the runways this fall as some of the biggest names in bridal gathered to celebrate the slew of new collections that will spring into stores come March. While it is tempting to declare them all favorites, some of the most inspiring designs were from newcomers to the bridal scene and from fresh new lines showcased by industry veterans. These six designers had our fashion-loving hearts fluttering, and we can’t wait to share what we loved about each and every one of them with you.

IVY & ASTER

The first collection by designer Ivy & Aster is made up of the most whimsical, dreamy and hip dresses premiering this spring. Designed for the young bride with her eye on style, each Ivy & Aster gown is ethereal, refined and fits like a dream. They even boast an impressive collection of LWDs (little white dresses) for you girls looking for a costume change at your rehearsal dinner or reception.

JENNY LEE

Throughout every one of her collections, one thing remains the same about Jenny Lee’s commitment to style: her pursuit of a great-fitting gown for every bride. With this vision firmly in mind, Lee goes on to innovate striking new designs year after year. Expect to see dozens of flattering sweetheart, fit-and-flair styles from the talented designer in stores next season.

ADELE WESCHLER

With an eye for detail and a heart for saving the environment, gown designer and philanthropist Adele Weschler designs for the bride who “cares about the world in which she lives.” Because thoughtful brides come with many different likes and tastes, Adele’s new spring collection has something for everyone as gowns range from sweet and form-fitting to striking and opulent.

KEVAN HALL

Long-loved evening gown designer Kevan Hall premiered his very first bridal collection on the runway this year. We’re looking forward to seeing his sleek, sophisticated dresses on brides who have both classic taste and a modern flair.

JOHNNA HO

Johnna Ho’s new collection is a unique array of funky, eclectic details and traditional silhouettes. Designer of the famed “reversible dress,” Ho is not afraid to push the envelope and bring concepts the bridal world hasn’t seen before to reality. If you want to wow your guests when you walk down the aisle, these designs are for you.

TEMPERLEY LONDON

Temperley London’s new collection combines its penchant for timeless elegance with its undeniable trend-setting ability. The new spring collection is sexy, dramatic and full of new details and textures, like a completely ruffled skirt that still manages to be sleek and form-fitting and sultry Grecian-inspired embroidered bodices.
