As a one-woman business operation, it’s very important to me that my business values align with my personal values and ethical practices are at the forefront of everything I create. I use Fairmined 18k gold and source traceable, responsibly mined and cut gemstones. I favor color gemstones and see them as a beautiful alternative to diamonds. (80-90% of color gemstones are mined by artisanal miners and I see supporting responsible artisanal mining as a way to contribute to reversing the damage caused by the colonialist beginnings of the jewelry industry). However, we can work with heirloom or vintage diamonds as well. Additionally, I now also offer a selection of vintage and pre-loved pieces through the Truss and Ore Curated collection.
