Some love stories simmer. Others arrive like fire—and for Amanda and Victoria, it was the hottest kind of spark.
Both executive leaders at HOTWORX Corporate Headquarters in New Orleans, Amanda and Victoria first locked eyes on Amanda’s very first day at work. Though they’d unknowingly shared a college campus (and even a class!), it wasn’t until they were in the same company years later that fate finally introduced them.
Just over a year into their relationship, Amanda surprised Victoria with an unforgettable proposal in a hidden alleyway of the French Quarter. With New Orleans charm in the air and their photographer, Andrew Alwert Studios, capturing every emotional second, Amanda got down on one knee.

But the magic didn’t stop there. After the “yes,” the newly engaged pair wandered the French Quarter for a romantic photo session, hitting their favorite city spots. To cap off the celebration? A surprise riverboat gathering with both of their families on the iconic New Orleans Jazz River Boat—a true party in the Crescent City spirit.

Victoria shared what she loves most about Amanda:
“What I love most about Amanda is she grounds me in the most positive ways, loves me consistency and intentionally, and her presence in my life creates a sense of peace I’ve always needed. She is also the best mom to who is now our dog, Gia! Amanda is my home.”
Amanda is equally smitten:
“What I love most about Victoria is her capacity to love deeply and unconditionally. She is intentional and consistent which makes me feel seen, valued, and loved.”
They’re looking forward to building a marriage rooted in love, growth, and joy—one that celebrates not only their bond, but also the future they hope to create, including a loving home for their future children.

Such a beautiful couple and I love the proposal. The pictures are almost as stunning as Amanda and Victoria. I am born and raised in New Orleans and in the French Quarter and seeing the city as the backdrop of the proposal, really touched me. I wish Amanda and Victoria a lifetime of happiness.
