“I had been wanting to design an LBGTQ+ inclusive shoot for the unconventional artistic eye, and Victoria from Table 75 Events shared that vision. We were both drawn to combining elevated, monochromatic minimalism with the eco-friendly venue, The Caboose, in Hudson, NY. We began our design process off of the predicted 2025 Pantone color of the Year, Transcendent Pink and supporting color, Future Dusk. The soft, feminine pink tones act as a neutral against the more intense, darker tones of Future Dusk. These tones fit perfectly to juxtapose against one another in the same way that each person in a couple can represent the yin and yang, opposites highlighting each others’ differences. We chose to work with queer photographer Daniel Blake, as he possesses a brilliantly moody eye for romance. He brought in a few models, Hanifah and Maria Bella (both identifying as they/them), and from there everything started to take shape!”—Eliza Rose, Boom and Bloom Flowers, a preferred Equally Wed vendor and sustainable and inclusive floral designer in the Catskills in Hudson Valley, NY
