Chasity and Amy’s wedding at Brooks Manor Farm in Brooks, Georgia, was a stunning celebration of love, unity, and joy. The day unfolded in a picturesque setting, surrounded by lush greenery and the warmth of family and friends. The couple, who reside in Spring Valley, California, meticulously planned their big day with the help of Equally Wed Preferred Vendor Great Days Event Planning, ensuring every detail reflected their style and love story.
A Tale of Two Brides
Both Chasity and Amy radiated timeless beauty on their wedding day, donning white gowns with floral-inspired designs. Chasity’s sleeveless dress beautifully complemented Amy’s gown, which featured delicate see-through sleeves. Their hair was styled in loose, curled buns with sparkling hairpieces, while simple silver jewelry completed their looks. Opting for comfort and practicality, they both wore boots, blending elegance with ease.
The couple’s love story began with a heartfelt proposal (check out their proposal story and video here) and culminated in an intimate yet joyous gathering of loved ones, many of whom traveled from far and wide to celebrate the union. Chasity’s best friend, Karisha, who owns Brooks Manor Farm, not only hosted the wedding but also officiated the ceremony, adding a deeply personal touch.
Ceremony and Celebration
The outdoor ceremony took place in front of a lush garden and a row of hedges, setting a serene and romantic stage for the couple’s vows. The highlight of the ceremony was a unique and vibrant touch—daytime rainbow fireworks that burst into the sky as Chasity and Amy shared their first kiss as a married couple.
Chasity and Amy wrote their own vows, choosing to keep the ceremony free of religious or spiritual elements, focusing instead on their personal connection and shared journey. Guests were welcomed with pre-ceremony drinks and kettle corn by the pool, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
Culinary Delights and Sweet Celebrations
The reception continued the elegant theme, with lavender, dark purple, white, and sage serving as the primary colors. Roses, dahlias, lisianthus, lavender stock, and hydrangeas made up the floral arrangements by Gracie’s Garden Floral Studio. Guests dined on an enticing menu prepared by Food For Thought Catering, while the sweet finale featured a cake by Bam Bam’s Ugly Cakes and macarons from Dawn McKee Cakes.
The couple’s first dance was a beautiful moment, as they swayed to “From Georgia to California,” a custom song written and performed by their friend, Jessi Lynn. The personal touch of having a custom song added an intimate layer to their celebration and perfectly encapsulated their journey from coast to coast.
Special Touches and Unforgettable Moments
The lovebirds went above and beyond to ensure their guests enjoyed every moment of the day. From shuttle buses provided by Premiere Private Rides to marquee rentals by All Around Event Rentals, every detail was thoughtfully curated. Guests danced the night away on the dance floor under the canopy and string lights.
Their advice to other couples planning a wedding is simple yet invaluable: hire a wedding planner. “There is no way we could have planned this wedding, especially from 3,000 miles away, without the best!” they emphasized, crediting Great Days Event Planning for making their dream day a reality.
A Celebration of Love and Community
Chasity and Amy’s wedding was more than a union of two people; it was a celebration of community, love, and joy. For the couple, the most meaningful part of their wedding day wasn’t just the stunning details or the unforgettable moments—it was seeing their friends and family come together, laugh, and celebrate their love. Surrounded by joy, they soaked in every smile, every embrace, and every shared dance, making their special day truly unforgettable.
