Hi,
My name is Claire Katan, and I am the owner of Claire Katan Creative. I specialize in true-color wedding and portrait photography that guides you through your photos to make you feel comfortable and like you are creating memories together, rather than simply having your photos taken. I am based out of Omaha, NE, but I love to travel to capture love stories anywhere and everywhere.
To me, the queer community and inclusivity in all forms is at the heart of my business. As a member of both the LGBTQIA+ community and the disabled community, I have a passion for creating connections and being a safe space for others to express their love. I love a good theme and would describe myself as a more-is-more kind of girl, but I also love being able to be a center of calm for my couples on their wedding day.
When I am not doing photography, I am usually found with a book and a cat or spending my time singing with the River City Mixed Chorus, which is one of the largest LGBTQIA+ and allyship choruses in the country.
My priority is always going to be you and the traditions you want to make together. I can’t wait to meet more amazing couples and get to help capture their most beautiful day.
