Amidst the glamour of Beverly Hills, Christopher and Daniel crafted a wedding that was as bold, colorful and unique as their love story. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant patterns, rich textures and fearless designs of Italian fashion house Etro, the couple created a wedding experience that seamlessly blended high fashion with heartfelt romance.

A Love Story That Began in a Pandemic

Christopher and Daniel first met on the dating app Coffee Meets Bagel in the summer of 2020, in the midst of the global pandemic. Their first date, at South Beverly Grill in Beverly Hills, was a masked affair filled with sushi, chardonnay and an immediate, undeniable connection. As they talked about their pasts and their dreams for the future, sparks flew—setting the foundation for a love that would continue to grow in adventure, friendship and deep, unwavering commitment.

Two years later, Christopher proposed in an intimate moment on their balcony. The engagement ring was hidden among Daniel’s beloved plants, sparking his curiosity and leading to an unforgettable surprise.

Fashion as Art: A Statement in Style

Etro’s signature paisley prints and luxurious fabrics played a central role in the couple’s wedding day looks. Christopher wore an off-white Etro suit embossed with the brand’s iconic paisley pattern, complemented by a bronze silk pussy-bow shirt and accessorized with a vintage brooch and green velvet Jimmy Choos. Daniel, embracing his love for flowing silhouettes and bold color, transformed an Etro dress into a stunning orange cape, draped over an off-white silk embroidered shirt and emerald green velvet pants. He completed his look with shimmering bronze Ferragamo shoes, embodying the essence of high fashion and personal expression.

A Ceremony Framed in Color and Love

Held on the outdoor patio of the luxurious Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, the ceremony was a stunning blend of romance and artistic expression. A custom backdrop, shaped like a heart and featuring Etro’s signature paisley print, served as a striking focal point, adorned with an explosion of vibrant florals.

Each partner made their entrance separately, with a live harpist playing deeply personal selections: Björk’s “All is Full of Love” for Daniel and Taylor Swift’s “Lover” for Christopher. Under the open sky, surrounded by loved ones, they exchanged personally written vows, promising each other a lifetime of love, adventure and unwavering support.

A Celebration of Heritage and Joy

The reception continued the theme of vibrant colors and cultural richness. To honor Daniel’s Mexican heritage, the couple surprised their guests with a lively mariachi performance, complete with traditional dancers. The energy in the room was electric as guests joined in, singing along and celebrating the union in a night filled with music, laughter and joy.

From the floral arrangements by Nebella Florals to the creative and colorful wedding cake from The Butter End, every detail of the evening reflected the couple’s commitment to creating a wedding that was uniquely theirs.

Words of Wisdom for Future Couples

When asked what advice they would give to other couples planning their wedding, Christopher and Daniel emphasized the importance of staying true to your vision: “Be kind and patient in planning. This day is yours—make it yours. There is so much information and advice out there, and it’s easy to feel pressured to conform. Resist, and create something that truly represents you.”
