When most people think of updos, they think of elaborate styles that are require a course at salon school to perfect. But updos can be easy! Patrick Jagaille at the Serge Normant at John Frieda Salon in Los Angeles has been kind enough to teach us how to create this breezy style. “We wanted the hair to be really soft but not down,” he says “so we compromised but pulling it up gracefully at the neck. This is the kind of hair for a natural bride, when she doesn’t want to feel like she has a major updo.”
