At New York Bridal Market this fall, wedding gown designers showed both ends of the spectrum from over-the-top bling to understated and elegant. An unadorned wedding gown makes a statement all on its own, and brides confident in their personal style can decide to keep their look minimal or add a fabulous accessory to their look—think bold shoes, oversized headpiece and heavy jewelry.
These minimalist gowns may look simple, however, their attention to detail is anything but. Make sure when you try on an understated dress you look at the view from all angles to ensure that the style comes across from both the front and back views.
