On Thursday’s Conan show, Conan O’Brien and Team Coco made television history by officiating the wedding of longtime costume designer Scott Cronick and his partner David Gorshein. Celebrating his own anniversary, with a week back in New York City at the Beacon Theatre, Conan O’Brien performed (legally!) the first-ever on-air late-night television same-sex wedding.
The Team Coco costume designer, Cronick, walked arm in arm down the aisle by Bravo TV executive and Watch What Happens: Live host Andy Cohen. During the ceremony, Conan mentioned Andy was the groom’s favorite celebrity. The two exchanged short but poignant vows under a chuppah set up on the stage.
