For 20 years, Mark Badgley and James Mischka have been making brides’ wedding dreams come true with their gorgeous gowns, and now, the designer duo and couple, who have been together since 1985, have taken the leap themselves.

In an intimate New York City Hall ceremony, witnessed only by Mark’s twin sister O’Hara Fottrell, the grooms said “I do” followed by a private celebratory dinner with 22 of their closest friends and family at a SoHo bistro Raoul’s, complete with a Sylvia Weinstock–designed wedding cake and ‘80s music blaring as a nod to their first years together. The handsome husbands made the exciting announcement to their fans on Twitter by posting an image of their wedding bands.

Mark and James met at Parsons School of Design and quickly joined together both creatively and romantically. The rest is, as they say, well-dressed history.
Congratulations to the happy couple! — Brittny Drye
