Conan O’Brien will serve as the officiant of his longtime staffer’s wedding to his partner in an on-air episode of Conan in New York next week, New York Magazine’s Vulture is reporting.
The commemoration of O’Brien’s one-year anniversary at TBS will be a taping of the late-night show Conan at New York’s Beacon Theater next week, as well as this very special gay and legal wedding between two men.
Reports from multiple news outlets say this is no publicity stunt. It appears that O’Brien genuinely cares for his employee and the man’s partner.
Cheers to the lucky grooms!
