The cult online fashion boutique Bona Drag (which means “nice outfit” in polari, a secret language used by the gay culture in London during the 1960s) has unveiled its Ceremonial Collection, a bridal-focused collaboration with indie labels like Mara Hoffman, Pamela Love, Anna Sheffield, Samantha Pleet and Made Her Think.
“After being asked countless times, ‘Can this be an engagement ring? Would it be crazy if I wore this dress to my wedding?’ it was obvious that our customers needed some guidance, and for someone to tell them yes, you’re allowed to have a black diamond wedding ring,” explains Heather Wojner, founder of Bona Drag.
The result is a collection that features hauntingly beautiful pieces beyond the ball gown. Plunging necklines, delicate lace, wispy silks and Victorian Goth details highlight the online closet, while hammered rose gold wedding bands, ethereal headpieces and Art Deco-inspired black diamond baubles round out the romantic looks.

Dresses range from $240 to $1,289 and the the line also features a fabulous tux dress ($552) for brides who fall halfway between the femme and butch spectrum. Their return policy makes it easy for brides-to-be to get the dress they desire; just ship back unworn, tags still intact, within 14 days of the received date.
