When it comes to handmade wedding favors, there are plenty of pros: they’re often less expensive, they can be customized and guests appreciate a handcrafted gift.
But the con—and it’s a big one—is time. Something soon-to-be grooms and brides have little of. Between fittings, tastings and floral arrangements, there isn’t much time left to dedicate to spearing a needle through hundreds of tiny pom poms.
Which is why I love this adorable DIY wedding favor project from Heartmade Blog. It’s inexpensive and extremely easy to construct, and each takes merely three minutes to create.

And, like every good DIY project, it’s easily customizable. In lieu of the button, attach a pretty ribbon or bow to match your color scheme or decorate with stamps (we love the idea of mustache stamps for grooms’ weddings and lips for the ladies). Fill it with sweets as takeaway treats for guests or fill with petals, confetti or other send-offs they beckon you and your sweetheart goodbye with.
