Wherever you’re planning on getting hitched, it’s important to pick up the local wedding magazine for the region. I find that local issues are a great resource for wedding vendors, and you’ll also find great style ideas.
For couples saying “I do” in New York’s tri-state area New York magazine’s Weddings issue, which just hit stands, is a great source for both planning advice, local vendors and style ideas—fashion and wedding. The magazine hosts their annual must-attend wedding show, The New York Weddings Event, to coincide with the issue. This year it’s on Wednesday, March 28 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea and will include an array of LGBT-friendly vendors such as Elegantly Iced, Kleinfeld Bridal and Scratch Weddings. Tickets are $40 each, $60 for a pair, but we are giving away two tickets to one of our lucky readers.
