Wherever youโre planning on getting hitched, itโs important to pick up the local wedding magazine for the region. I find that local issues are a great resource for wedding vendors, and youโll also find great style ideas.

For couples saying โI doโ in New Yorkโs tri-state area New York magazineโs Weddings issue, which just hit stands, is a great source for both planning advice, local vendors and style ideasโfashion and wedding. The magazine hosts their annual must-attend wedding show, The New York Weddings Event, to coincide with the issue. This year itโs on Wednesday, March 28 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea and will include an array of LGBT-friendly vendors such as Elegantly Iced, Kleinfeld Bridal and Scratch Weddings. Tickets are $40 each, $60 for a pair, but we are giving away two tickets to one of our lucky readers.
To enter to win, share in the comments below one LGBT-friendly vendor that you are using or have heard recommendations for. Winners will be selected on or around Saturday, March 24 and notified by email. Deadline to enter contest is 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Friday, March 23. Good luck!
