kirsten1At long last, our fall issue has arrived. This folio of articles is chock full of Real (Gay!) Weddings; fashion, beauty and grooming trends and ideas for grooms, brooms and brides; planning tips from sought-after wedding experts; gay-friendly honeymoon destinations; fall-themed wedding invitations for gays and lesbians; and, of course, cocktails and Champagne. (Never underestimate the value of bubbly!) In this issue, I took a moment to personally pen a piece about my own nuptials, part two. After already having a wedding in Georgia two years ago, my wife and I sojourned to New York this summer to take advantage of the fabulous marriage equality law.

We absolutely love covering weddings at Equally Wed. The photos inspire our readers ideas for their own weddings, and the stories touch all of our hearts. This season is no exception. You’ll meet Shae and Beth, another Georgia couple, who traveled to Provincetown, Mass., to legally wed in an intimate ceremony; Alex and Megan, a fun pair of doctors who wowed their guests with an exciting circus-themed wedding; Fritz and Sebastian of Los Angeles who spared no expense in their luxurious celebration; and Christen and Christina, who set their union to sweet sounds of love and joy in an Arizona sunset wedding.

It’s because of the popularity of our Real (Gay!) Weddings that we have decided to halt our quarterly issues and move to a monthly format. You’ll still be able to indulge in new content daily in our Headlines, Style Watch and Planning sections that you’ve enjoyed over the past two years. But now we’ll be bringing you even more Real Weddings every month, instead of every season, as well as more valuable reviews of gay-friendly honeymoon destinations around the globe.

We hope you enjoy our fall issue. As always, we love hearing your feedback, so drop me a line anytime: kpalladino@equallywed.com.

XO,
