Earlier today, we reported how the Maryland Senate advanced a bill to legally recognize same-sex marriage on Wednesday. The full Senate debated the bill before a final vote today, and it passed by a vote of 25 to 21. Now it moves to the House and then to the desk of Gov. Martin O’Malley, who has pledged his support for gay marriage.
