Eiffel Tower’s the perfect proposal spot—but has been never the bride. That could change, ThinkProgress reports.
Tamara Scott, left, new Iowa campaign co-chair for GOP presidential hopeful and U.S. Sen. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., believes gay marriage could lead to “object marriage.” That’s matrimony between a man or woman and a thing—like the Eiffel Tower.
Scott, former head of the Hawkeye state’s Concerned Women for America chapter, shared that wisdom with FAMILY LEADER’s Bob Vander Plaats in June.
Bachmann told reporters at a press conference earlier this month, “I believe marriage is between a man and a woman. I don’t stand for the proposition that marriage can include people of different sexes or multiples on either side. Marriage is one man and one woman.”
