It’s a perfect match–Francesca Farago and Jesse Sullivan are officially engaged! The influencer power couple announced with a collaborative IG post with the caption: “WE’RE ENGAGED. a glimpse into the most magical night ever. obsessed with our family.. what is life !!”

Farago, an influencer known for her appearances on a series of Netflix dating shows, including Too Hot to Handle, Love Is Blind and Perfect Match, is openly bisexual, a fact that has made her somewhat of an icon for queer representation on reality TV. Sullivan is a TikTokker and dad known for sharing his experience as a trans person and bringing visibility to trans rights activism through his influencer work. Five weeks ago, he celebrated the official change of his legally recognized name and gender marker with a social media announcement while wearing an “It’s a boy” T-shirt.
Having seen threats directed at Sullivan, as well as the public’s responses to her appearance as a queer woman in the historically heterosexual space of reality dating, Farago has been vocal about the hate directed at LGBTQ+ folks. “It’s crazy, the hate towards our community,” she says. “The hate is a lot louder than anything else. People are still getting death threats and people are still getting attacked in public.”

The spouses-to-be made their April 28 engagement public on May 3, garnering congratulations and excitement for the happy couple. In the photo carousel announcement, Sullivan’s son, Arlo, can be seen smiling and holding the family’s pomeranian, Romeo, who is sporting a dapper dog-sized tuxedo bib. The trio also shared a snapshot of their hands (and, if you look closely, Romeo’s little paw!), showing off the ring Arlo got that complements Farago and Sullivan’s rings from New York City–based jeweler Ring Concierge.
