Pick up this new book to find inspiration for your big day
By Anne Chertoff
Many couples find wedding inspiration from celebrities, but you don’t have to pick up the latest tabloid to get ideas for your big day. The weddings of Hollywood’s brightest stars have graced the pages of glossies since the 1930s, and now you can take a look at some of the stunning fashions and romantic details in a new book, Weddings and Movie Stars ($79.95), just published from Reel Art press.
In addition to real celebrity weddings, the book also features images from some of Hollywood’s most memorable reel weddings. Classic wedding scenes include films from The Philadelphia Story to The Graduate. Though it’s shamefully void of any gay or lesbian weddings, we still think there’s much to be inspired by in the details.
Film buffs and wedding-fanatics (a nicer way to say bridezilla) are sure to love flipping through 288 pages of wedding dresses, suits, wedding rings, wedding cakes and a variety of other fabulous wedding details!
