For the past couple of years, a number of high-end wedding gown designers have been launching lower-priced lines to reach a wider audience. In 2011, Monique Lhuillier launched Bliss, an accessible alternative to her namesake line available in bridal salons across the country, and that same year Vera Wang’s WHITE by Vera Wang collection hit David’s Bridal stores. Anne Barge recently announced that she will debut her Blue Willow line in fall 2012 and now it’s formalwear and bridal designer Reem Acra’s turn.

Known for her glamorous red carpet looks (Angelina Jolie and Madonna are fans), and unbelievably gorgeous wedding dresses, Reem Acra has partnered with Nordstrom to launch a line of affordable made-to-order wedding gowns in their Wedding Suites. The initial collection, titled ‘Roses,’ consists of six ethereal gowns, all priced below $4,000, and inspired by her eponymous line. An additional six gowns will hit stores in November along with veils and bridal accessories.

The dresses, which you can see here, are all elegant silhouettes with minimal detailing, including beaded capped sleeves, floral embellishments and soft draping.

The collection will launch this week in Nordstrom’s Wedding Suites. Click here to find one in your area.
