Not all wedding gowns are dance-friendly (mermaid silhouette, anyone?), but there are some dresses that are constructed so beautifully, so flowingly, that you simply must twirl in them, even if no one is watching. We are smitten by the Maria Lucia Hohan gown that the adorable Vanessa Hudgens wore to the Los Angeles premiere of Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, Calif., last week. The dress looked amazing on the tiny starlet and, per this picture, she absolutely knew how to work it.

The Helga gown ($1,011) is made from delicate silk mousseline fabric and features a draped bodice, waistline definition and an invisibile tulle back. The elegant design ensures it easily transitions from the red carpet to the aisle. While we love the vibrant, cheerful yellow for a colorful Caribbean wedding, it comes in an array of colors, including white.
