For this whimsical styled shoot in Hawaii, the vendors wanted to move past the tropical tropes associated with the state and instead create a wonderland garden theme. The models, a real engaged couple, posed together in bold velvet suits, surrounded by dense greenery and pastel florals. In true wonderland fashion, they also enjoyed a tea party. The shoot took place on the east side of O’ahu at a private beach front estate called Maleʻana Garndens.
“We really want people to be able to see themselves when they think Hawaiʻi Weddings,” said planner Zabrina of The Gay Agenda Collective. “As a Native Hawaiian, queer wedding planner, it has always been a goal of mine to feature couples that look like me, because I never got to see anyone that resembled me when I planned my own wedding.”
