The ultimate stroke of bridal brilliance: wedding dresses with pockets. It’s perfect from everything to housing a tissue (in case you need to gracefully dry a few happy tears) to keeping a good luck charm close. In the last few years the pocketed look has really taken off, so 2013 is going to bring some of the best yet.

This stunning piece, Isolde, is part of the Carolina Herrera 2013 Spring Collection. Featuring silk buttons on the front of the dress, this gown fits the unique bill as well as the utility one. And the secret will be safe—the pleating makes the pockets practically invisible. If this dress isn’t quite doing it for you, the spring collection features at least four other dresses with pockets.

The 2013 Bari dress from Rosa Clara is incredibly beautiful, down to the ribbed bodice (which will do wonders for any figure). The single strap sports an oversized bow, adding an extra elegance factor alongside the practicality of the pockets. Besides Bari, the 2013 line also includes these pocketed dresses: Bach, Bahamas, Bahia, Basilea, Belgica, Berenice, Berlin and Biel.

Looking for something sleek? This dress is part of the 2013 collection from Patricia Avendano, which debuted during Barcelona Bridal Week. The bridal gown covers all the bases: the feathered top and bottom give the dress a fun feel, the smooth body of the dress keeps it classy and the pockets, of course, add a sense of mystery.

Show a bit skin with Lou Lou, Sarah Jassir’s 2013 short, pocketed wedding dress. This cute and flirty dress has a strapless beaded bodice to accent the shoulders and the tiniest bit of a short-front long-back skirt to show off the legs. The silky sash tucks nicely at the waist, too.

The Manuel Mota Collection by Pronovias has several pocketed dresses in the 2013 collection: Eros, Galaica, Vitoria and Gabina, pictured above. The classy combination of the V-neck and short sleeves gracefully and modestly shows off the bust line. The short train reflects a little traditional flare, completing the look.
