Country crooner Miranda Lambert recently wed her sweetheart Blake Shelton. For the May 14 nuptials, she wore her mother’s ivory wedding gown. She told US Weekly she considered it a good-luck charm since her parents have been happily married for 33 years.
In a post this week on TresSugar.com, writer/editor Tara Sharp posted a photo of her own mother’s wedding gown, along with another of site editor Annie’s mom, and considered how she felt about wearing an heirloom gown.
