Festive elements to add a pop of color (and fun) to your big day

Confetti is a very happy detail, but sometimes it’s important to know when and where to include it in your wedding.

While confetti in a mailed envelope may seem fun to you, your guests may not enjoy the mess it makes on their floor. Instead of including confetti in your wedding invitation or save the date, choose an invitation or STD card design that has a confetti feel, but limit the confetti to the actual wedding. Here are some other confetti wedding ideas:

The Toss: As you and your fiancé make your way up the aisle after saying, “I do” have small bags or cones filled with confetti available for guests to toss. Ask a member of the bridal party or staff at the location to hand them out before the ceremony, have them arranged on a table as guests enter or on ceremony seats. The “Confetti” bags shown here are available at poppiesforgrace.ca, $12.95 for 10.

Cocktail Hour:
Personalize the décor at your cocktail hour by sprinkling Photofetti on the tables. Photofetti can be customized with photos of the couple through the years and with complementary color pieces too. Price based on quantity ordered.
