Taking place in the heart of Park City, Utah, this styled photoshoot featured inspiration for a gay wedding overflowing with chic city vibes and whimsical aesthetics. Led by an experienced destination wedding photographer and wedding planner, the team of creative inclusive wedding vendors created a vintage-inspired shoot complete with custom invitation suites, charcuterie spreads and minimalist tablescapes.

A reception table is set up in an industrial restaurant space, with black metal chairs and a large floral arch behind it.

The model grooms are real-life husbands Jeffrey (he/him) and Andrew (he/him), who were married a few years prior in a similarly intimate wedding. The couple wore gray suits with matching boutonnieres that tied in the floral design of the rest of the shoot. Three groomsmaids joined the husbands for the event, each dressed in a different shade of blue and carrying a nosegay matching the flowers in the grooms’ boutonnieres.

For flowers, the team used baby roses, ruffled parrot tulips and furry bunny tails (an ornamental grass). To round out the chic aesthetic of the floral design, the rest of the event intentionally played with shapes, using a geometric wedding cake and copper geometric chargers. This, in contrast with the blue vintage car that the grooms posed with outside, created a styled shoot that feels full of personality and is sure to inspire your chic and whimsical gay wedding.
