Right this minute, the world is in the midst of the menswear spring 2012 shows, which means more trends for everyone to fret and fawn over. But this week we spotted one look we can definitely get behind. Many a summer wedding features the fun, sporty white linen suit. Now Italian fashion house Etro has given the look a new spin by creating this sleek black linen tux. GQโs Creative Director Jim Moore even chose the suit as one of his favorite looks thus far.
Linen has long been a spring and summer staple for designers thanks to the fabricโs lightweight breathability. The carefree look makes it perfect for beach or outdoor weddings, seen in many rom-coms, most famously in The Wedding Singer. But this new twist on the classic white linen suit will give a vibe a little less Miami Vice. The black fabric and the tuxedo lapel detailing makes this look far more refined, while still giving the wearer that summer-wedding ease.
