Our choice for the final installment of the Bridal Market series is very much a case of saving the best for last. Though that was not the case when Douglas Hannant showed his bridal suit at Market: He actually opened his show with this ivory tuxedo made of silk crepe with satin trim. The inspiration for Hannant’s show this season was snow, and the set was designed to look like a winter wonderland with models emerging from a snowy forest fantasy. The designer thought this suit was super chic and an amazing look to open the show, and we agree!
It is so refreshing to see a new take on the bridal suit for 2011, and we were so thrilled to see a stylish option for butch brides at Market! Contact us at pnaderi@equallywed.com for more information on the suit.
